Northwest Opticians was incorporated in 1945 by the Schultz family, who owned and personally operated the optical shop. In 2007, Dr. Toni Albrecht started providing eyecare for the customers at Northwest Opticians. As owner Roger Schultz began transitioning into retirement, he and Dr. Albrecht shared many ideas about future possibilities.

As luck would have it, the space right next door became vacant and the concept of Focus Optical was created. Dr. Albrecht wanted to be able to continue providing care to her current patients, as well as expand the practice. Her goal was to create an unparalleled experience for patients and customers regarding customer service, eye care, and incredible eyewear.
